I’m Rafael, your guide on the tour, 44 years old, gay and a Berliner for 10 years.

There is no company or major profit motive behind this tour, but I Rafael Nasemann. The idea for the tour came to me during the pandemic while reading exciting books about homosexual history of Berlin. The idea to digitize it as an audio guide came from a participant of the tour who told me about his new app for audio tours. It’s a great hobby to be able to teach people more about queer history. I wish I had more time as a tour guide, so I was intrigued by the idea of creating a do-it-yourself audio tour so that I could hopefully reach more people.
